Here at the George we have created a menu gained through a wealth of experience obtained within our catering backgrounds, it has enabled us to offer you this gastro style cuisine and traditional bar meals. We have sourced as much local produce as possible, thus providing the quality and freshness we insist on, along with supporting the local trade.

Under the professional and experienced management of brothers Glen & Neil McCartney the Business is being continually re-modeled to return many of its original features to the building along with great food, selected wines, cask ales, cozy accommodation and friendly efficient service being the emphasis.

They also have a team of like minded enthusiastic helpers and together they are continually striving for excellence in their own particular field.

Our restaurant menu is based around local, seasonal produce wherever possible to deliver freshly made dishes infused with the seasons best flavors.
