Terms and Conditions

All rates are inclusive of VAT and includes breakfast.

Cotbeds and occasional beds are available upon request.  If used by a child under the age of five, there would be no extra charge.

If the room is cancelled 48hrs before the date of arrival no fee will be charged. If the room is cancelled within the 48hrs, or in case of a 'no show' the first nights stay will be charged. No deposit required.

The George has a strict no smoking policy in all public areas, bedrooms and bathrooms.

​

The George is located in the Market Place where adequate public car parking is available in front of the building with no parking restrictions or cost. There is no parking onsite.

Sorry no pets allowed, except guide dogs.

 

Access statement

Due to the age of the building, The George is not the most accessible of buildings to users of wheelchairs or for those with limited mobility. There is a small step into the main entrance and three leading to the toilets. There is however, a portable ramp available to help with accessing areas of the building. The restaurant and bar is all on one level.  All bedrooms are located on the first and second floor and we do not have a lift.  That being said, the staff are here to help all guests including those with mobility, visual or hearing impairment. If you think you may have difficulties in accessing The George for whatever reason, please call or email with your queries and we will do our upmost to help you.
