Built in the 1700s, The George was a former coaching inn which provided refreshment and shelter. Hundreds of years later it is still doing the same!

Our 12 en-suite rooms provide warmth and comfort. After a good night's sleep you can start your day with a breakfast cooked fresh to order, using only the best quality produce.

The George is your local pub, family run since 2006. The team at The George put their heart and soul into every aspect to give you the best possible experience. We provide a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, where everyone is welcome.  The kitchen team work hard creating interesting, freshly cooked dishes with seasonal ingredients along with your favourite pub classics.
